Bangladesh
Bangladesh is a country of 126 million people. It occupies the lower portion of the Ganges, Brahmputra, Delta and has an area of 143,988 square kilometers. Ethnically and lingually this is a homogenous country with 99 percent of the people belonging to the same ethnic group speaking the same language.

The major items of exports are ready-made garments and clothing, jute goods, shrimps and frozen foods, raw jute and jute products, leather, newsprint, fertilizer etc. The major items of imports are Machineries, crude petroleum and petroleum products, raw cotton yarn, fabrics, cement, edible oils, foods grains etc.

Maldives
The Republic of Maldives consists of 1,190 coral islands which form a chain 820 km in length and 130 km in width, set in an area of 90,000 sq km of the Indian Ocean. Geologically, the chain forms a part of the Laccadive-Chagos submarine ridge, which extends into the central Indian Ocean from the south west coast of India. India and Sri Lanka are the country's nearest neighbours, lying some 600 km and 750 km north and north east of Maldives, respectively

The main industries are fishing, tourism, shipping and commerce. The proportion of contribution by these activities to the GDP distribution (19.1 %), Tourism (17.8 %), fisheries (11.8 %), Construction (9.1 %) and Government administration (9.0 %).

Bhutan
The economy, one of the world's smallest and least developed, is based on agriculture and forestry, providing the main livelihood for more than 90% of the population. Agriculture consists largely of subsistence farming and animal husbandry. Rugged mountains dominate the terrain and make the building of roads and other infrastructure difficult and expensive. The economy is closely aligned with India's through strong trade and monetary links.
