National Industrial  Classification 2008 (NIC-2008) :

The National Industrial Classification (NIC) is an essential Statistical Standard for developing and maintaining comparable data base according to economic activities. The details at link given below:

National Product Classification for Manufacturing Sector (NPMS) :

National Product Classification for Manufacturing Sector (NPCMS), 2011 has been constructed by CSO, IS Wing, Kolkata, based on Sections 0 to 4 of CPC, Ver. 2 that relate to products of manufacturing sector. The NPCMS, 2011 is a 7-digit classification and the structure is: 5-digit CPC Code + 2-digit Indian requirement and will have 5 Sections, 40 Divisions, 190 Groups, 785 Classes and 1501 Sub-Classes with ultimate 7- digit products. National Product Classification for Services Sector (NPCSS) :

The NPCSS Developed by Ministry of Statistics and program implementation for services sector viz. Transport, storage and communication, Financial Intermediation, Real Estate, Renting and Business Activates, Public Administrations and Defence, etc. will be used. The details at link given below:

India Harmonised System Product classification codes (ITC-HS) :

Indian Trade Clarification based on Harmonized System of Coding was adopted in India for  import-export  operations.  Indian custom uses an eight digit  ITC-HS Codes to suit the national trade requirements. The details at link given below:
